So I realized that I never really did an “Intro” post.  Or a post that introduces me to y’all.  It’s sort of weird, though — how does one do that?  Especially when one has no apparent readers because one’s blog is so young that no one knows about her yet.  Hmmm…

I’m from Alaska.

I’m a nurse.  In the Navy.

I have a brother and a sister and sister-in-law.  And my husband.  We are all active duty military.

We have no history of military in our family.  Dad’s an accountant and Mom’s a teacher.

My Nana is my best friend.  She’s awesome.

I love love LOVE avocados and orange juice jelly bellies and red cherry jelly bellies.  I could eat them forever.

All my friends are spread out across the country right now.  (Insert sad face.)  As well as my family.

I am in love with running.  And my treadmill.  My favorite distance is the marathon but am discovering that I am quite good at half’s.

I am 28 years young.  The hubby is 33 and almost didn’t date me because of our age difference.  Whoa — he would have totally missed out.

Consider yourselves introduced.  I’m off to make out with my handsome bff.

And just for s&g’s (shits and giggle’s) here’s the latest fact:  I just found dried, crusty oatmeal in between my wedding rings.  Awesome. The last time I had oatmeal was yesterday.  And apparently I eat it with my hands ???
